Oral care is critical for our overall health, self-esteem and success. Early indications of disease can often be detected through oral exams and x-rays. That’s why regular dental checkups and dental hygiene are very important for our health.

Walk-in Dental Services
Exalta Health is pleased to offer dental services on a walk-in basis. Walk-ins open at 9:00 am on Wednesdays and are on a first come, first served basis. Patients are encouraged to arrive by 9:00 am for registration to ensure they will be seen that day.
Free Dental Days
Free Dental Days have temporarily stopped due to COVID-19.
What do you do when you have urgent dental needs and don’t know where to go?
At our first Free Dental Day in August of 2015 we offered free dental services on a first come, first served basis regardless of insurance coverage or financial status. We now provide Free Dental Days three times each year serving 30-50 people each time.
Volunteers working closely with staff members make these days possible. “It is really moving to see so much dental sickness plaguing our neighbors. What is even more moving, however, is seeing the kindness and generosity of so many that come together to make a difference,” says Dr. Daniel Armstrong, Exalta Health Dental Director.
Senior Dental Program
In January 2017 Exalta Health began providing dental services to eligible seniors, thanks to support from AAAWM through the Senior Millage program.
There are three dental services that will be offered through the Senior Dental Program:
- General Dental Services including teeth cleaning, examination, x-rays, fillings and tooth removals;
- Dentures and partials for those needing to replace missing teeth;
- Root Canal Treatment to diminish pain or eliminate infection of the tooth or jawbone.
Low income seniors who do not have dental insurance coverage may qualify for the service at no or reduced charges. If you are interested in seeing you if qualify call us at 616-475-8446.
“I was nervous going there because I did not want to be treated like a charity case, nor did I want a bunch of dental students servicing me. Boy, was I wrong! I was treated with the love of Christ, especially by the doctor who saw me.” Read Full Testimonial
“The dental fees are very affordable and the service is excellent. I am thankful they are bilingual. Thanks [Exalta Health] for the dental care you provide for me and my family.” Read Full Testimonial
