Gratitude is the Attitude

Volunteering has its own rewards

After reading article about [Exalta Health] in the Grand Rapids Press, I thought volunteering there would be an awesome way for me to combine the two things I most enjoy doing – connecting with others and nursing. I placed a phone call the next day and for the past three years I have worked with the medical team on Monday afternoons.

I can honestly say that I’ve never felt such personal fulfillment and enjoyment! There is so much that I love about the clinic! Interacting with the patients is a highlight and privilege. One thing that I often share with others is the gifted and dedicated team of professionals and support staff that work there. They are compassionate and truly committed to providing the best possible medical, dental, and spiritual care to each patient that walks through the door. Everyone is valued and treated with great respect.

There is a big need in Grand Rapids for providing compassionate, accessible healthcare and I am very grateful for the work that God is doing in meeting those needs through the clinic. I am grateful too, for the opportunity to be a part of the ministry of Exalta Health through my service and support.
